Spring Videos for Elementary Music

Looking for fun ways to engage your students this Spring? Here are some great for you to enjoy!

In this playlist, you’ll find:

Steady Beat Practice—The first one has a hidden frog in every section and it’s so much fun to pause the video and have students come up to the board to find them! The second one features similar actions to Black Violin’s version of Vivaldi’s Spring.

Would You Rather—There are two levels of this fun game to play with your students. Level 1 has quarter note, eighth notes, and quarter rests, which Level 2 uses all of the above plus sixteenth notes.

Icon Play-Along—A fun play-along for students who are not yet reading rhythm notation.

Spring Freeze Dance—Who doesn’t love a good freeze dance? This one is so much fun and you get to pretend to move like different Spring animals as well as stomp in your rain boots.
